Hey, I've actually been trying to farm one of these for my monk or ele, but haven't had much success lately. I've pretty much been trying to farm one for over a month and haven't even had a gold one drop.

This is in contrast to a few months ago, when I could get a few a day if lucky. What do the rest of you think?

I usually alternate between Luxon Assassins and Jade Brothers, both as 330 rit.

I have tried Minister Cho's Estate HM as an A/N, but previously used a Mo/N back in the day.

If anyone else knows any other good ways to get Bo Staffs, hints would be appreciated.

Ive got at least 3 last week, and I only did about 5 runs on my A/N out of boredom.
Sometimes I don't get any golds for 10 runs and then I get a couple in 1 run. I'ts just random.

Short answer : Yes
Long answer : yes , common as hell , but "faction core" drops are sometimes abundant and sometimes quite rare . Bad luck happens ...

But farming them is probably as common as farming black dyes there.

don't see a reason why they wouldn't...
donno if farming them is worth it maybe try buying it from someone?

Out of curiosity, palm, do you have restriction on your staff you want (other than the obvious max energy, max inscr bonus)? I might try to see if I can farm today.

If you get fed up of farming, you can always give up and get a Traveler's Bo Staff

yeah, got a couple doing HM Minister Cho when it was the zbounty

the likelihood of getting matching mods and low req, though.....that's another matter

Uh, Yea I do have specific stats for a staff that I want, but the reason I created this thread was because I had literally been farming for over a month at Luxon Sins and Jade Brothers and haven't got even one gold bo, regardless of stats. Long story short, I'd like to farm my own.

then farm Minister Cho's Estate in HM, you'll find better drops there. There are many builds that can do it and I think you absolutely have to have necrotic transversal

Everyone is so pre-occupied with Minister Cho's that maybe you should try other places. I used to get lots of gold Bo Staffs from the Luxon Sins in The Halycon Job farm... It'll give you a good excuse to dig out your 330 Rit as well.

Yea, as I said I've been doing those and Jade Bros for like a month, no luck, I'll try Minister Cho's a bit I guess.

Uh, actually I have seen some bo staffs (attributes and such) that I have been looking for ( farming myself ) selling for upwards of 100k. Which is another reason why I'd like to farm one myself as I am kinda broke. lol.

Naga's drop Bo Staffs, so there are 4 grp outside Tsumei Village which u can 330, Jade brotherhood outside Marketplace, The beach outside minister cho's estate, Halycon Job quest, hell there are tons of places, although your chance of getting a decent drop is very very low and then chances of a q9 20/20 are even lower LOL

Ahh yes, the Naga, thanks for bringing that us as I forgot about them. ^^
